Marie works with the Solano Team on HMIS training and implementation and with research in a variety of areas. She joined HomeBase in 2014 as an intern paralegal, then was hired to take on a variety of research and coordinating duties. Prior to her paralegal work she was engaged with the homeless community through the AmeriCorps VISTA program and then as a teacher with area programs that work with homeless and at risk populations. Marie's work and personal life are informed by her interests in travel, reading, and making animals out of pocket lint. She has a B.A. in French and Art from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Arts from San Francisco State University, and a Paralegal Certificate from San Francisco State University.
