As a Senior Staff Attorney at Homebase, Esther provides communities across the country with technical assistance to build community capacity to prevent and end homelessness. Esther facilitates community planning processes, evaluates and develops coordinated entry systems, and helps communities maintain HUD compliance while implementing systems-level change. Prior to joining Homebase, Esther worked as a criminal defense attorney for several years, spent some brief time in death penalty work, and advocated against extreme sentencing of young adults at state, national and international forums.
