As a policy analyst at Homebase, Joy works with Bay Area Continuums of Care to provide facilitation, technical assistance and research support in evaluating and addressing needs and goals according to evidence-based best practices. Prior to joining Homebase, Joy worked as a research assistant studying transportation, housing, and homelessness, worked in education administration, and has interned at the federal, state, and local levels of government. She enjoys trips back home to Maui, spending time with family and friends, and finding new beaches and lakes to explore. Joy holds a BA in Sociology from Saint Mary’s College of California and an MPA from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
