Nick Large
Policy Analyst II
Nick has worked in public health, IT and local government, and provides technical assistance to aid states and communities in their work to end homelessness. He facilitates community trainings, meetings, and designs tools and materials that allow communities to effectively utilize funding and employ best practices in homeless service delivery and program planning. His recent work includes assisting CoCs with governance structuring, the development of community reports and plans, and with improvement and redesign of their Coordinated Entry systems. He has also conducted trainings for CoCs and homeless housing and service providers, including on alignment with the Equal Access Rule and ensuring cultural competency in shelters, navigation centers, and other CoC and ESG funded housing scenarios. Prior to joining Homebase, Nick worked in tech as an IT manager. He has a BA in Psychology and Gender Sexuality and an MPA from the University of San Francisco
